Capulet Fest happened over the weekend in Hartford, Connecticut and it also happened to make many festivalgoers upset for numerous reasons.
Many RadioU bands were originally set to play until a last-minute venue change caused Glasslands, American Arson, and The Ongoing Concept to be removed from the lineup. Skillet, RED, and August Burns Red were still able to perform. This change came one day before the festival began and the venue change was from the Thompson Speedway in Thompson, Connecticut to The Webster in Hartford, Connecticut; a one-hour-and-ten-minute drive away.
In addition to many discouraged fans having to cancel due to last-minute changes, the three-day festival was also cut short without any communication through email or social media.
As of this writing, there has been no update from festival promoter Estevan Vega on whether or not fans can acquire a refund for the numerous band cancellations and other inconveniences for the festival.
