Fit For A King just put out the final lore-based song and music video from their upcoming album Lonely God, which is set to drop on Friday, August 1st. Ryan from the band explains that all four of their music videos for the singles tell a story. The story, according to him, is about “a desperate person who is preyed on by a religious cult with the promise of deliverance. But the whole time he was doing the rituals or ‘initiations,’ he was prepping himself to just be another human sacrifice.” He goes on to say that “Simplified, the songs are about how many religious groups/leaders/politicians, etc., prey on desperate people to feed their ascension to power/fame/money. The hope is to encourage people to evaluate who you give your devotion to.” Listen to the full song .
